Unwilling Departure began with a question that refused to let go; what happens when the patterns no one else sees begin pointing toward something terrifyingly real?
Set in Owasso, Oklahoma, the story follows true crime podcaster Brooke Keller as she investigates a series of disappearances that police continue to dismiss as unrelated missing-person cases. As Brooke digs deeper, she begins uncovering a chilling pattern hidden beneath years of silence while unknowingly drawing the attention of the very person responsible.
The novel explores obsession, manipulation, trust, and the emotional weight of being almost right.
